Today is World AIDS Day. So um, happy World AIDS Day, I guess. I'm actually not entirely sure how I should be celebrating World AIDS Day, apart from trying extra super hard to NOT get AIDS today. So far, so good.
It's irritating that a disease that is so lifestyle-based and rare to contract accidentally receives so much hype compared to say, cancer. (Turns out, there IS a World Cancer Day annually observed on February 4th, but I only know that because I just looked it up.)
Just imagine how awesome life would be if wearing a condom once in a while or not having sex with people you don't know could pretty much guarantee that you didn't get cancer.
